Good design should be intelligent, user-friendly and efficient; but shouldn't it also be breathtaking? Shouldn't it stop you in your tracks?
Artifice Design is a London-based design agency run by me, Mark Foster. I've been providing people with design solutions since 1998, across many different media. In all that time, certain key principles in my work have not changed, for example, I still feel passionate about what I do and I need to work with clients who excite me and challenge me to stretch myself.
My reputation has been built on my commitment to each project and I provide a truly personal service for every one of my clients.
I am happy to consider any job, big or small, whether it's a web site, a book cover, a book interior, a brand identity, a logo, a brochure, a business card, a magazine re-design, or anything else in between. I can also provide copy-writing services and editing.
I work with a wide variety of clients and can take projects from the drawing board to launch day completely in-house. However, if you have your own technical team I would be more than happy to work with them or if you are a web developer looking for a front-end designer then I am equally at home working that way. One concept I understand perfectly is flexibility.
A last note on location; despite being based in the UK, over half of my clients are either from the USA or Australia, so distance is no object. Modern technology has made it easier than ever to work with people on different continents and being based in one time zone or another is no longer an overriding factor. What is more important is finding someone who can realise your vision and bring it to life, and that is something I am particularly good at.
