This is another book by Jenny Kile, this time, the true story of a goose that lived with her family on a farm and went on a journey of discovery. I felt that it would be fun to design the book as if it was an eclectic photo album that documented all of Gnarly’s adventures. Jenny had a series of photos from Gnarly’s travels, so it was a fun way to layout a book. I created all the illustrations as well as the cover. I then laid out the whole book inside and out, shaped it into a full-colour softback, and then formatted the whole thing as an eBook.
